There is no better way to inspire others than by recognizing the many young leaders who put their talents, time, and enthusiasm in high gear to do service on behalf of HMP.  We want to thank each of them for their commitment and creative spirit because they motivate all of us to help the poorest of the poor children in Mirebalais.  We also recognize the significant role adults in their lives play by encouraging the children in their care to respond to the needs of others

Many thanks go to the following young people:

img_1495-copyAnnabelle O’Bryan, who presented to the HMP Board of Directors her plans for a tee-shirt fund raiser entitled “Feeding Dreams.”  Annabelle is 15 years old and is in 9th grade in Alexandria, VA.  The funds she raised are being directed to the feeding program.

The students and staff at St Mary of the Hills Catholic School, Milton, MA. Each year middle schoolers present their plans to their city’s council for the annual Run for Haiti. Last spring’s  2016 event was the school’s 4thyear to organize the run that winds it’s way through their community.  Each year students fund raise to purchase T-Shirts and provide a breakfast before the big event.  Proceeds go toward the feeding program and help to the school’s child sponsorship.

And last, are the children in Haiti Micah Project who feel so appreciative of the support given by our donors.  Staff at HMP and adults in the community are providing opportunities for residents of the SAES Home to serve others. They bring food and comfort to the children and adults who live in the Azile, a facility in Mirebalais where many of our children lived before coming to HMP.
