The Delanot Family

The Delanot family is the first faily to be sponsored as part of the HMP Sponsor a Child program. The family includes the father, who is disabled, the mother, and three children Yawell, Joseph, Dieudinot, and Lovelie. The family lives in a makeshift house in Mirebalais, approximately two miles from the feeding program site. Mrs. Delanot takes the children to enjoy a hot meal each day. Dieudinot is now attending Lucienne Estime and Lovelies is attending St. Peter’s Episcopal school. As with all the children in the program their school tuition, clothes, and medical costs are covered in the program. This family is supported by Gretal James and Elsie Kirton, St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, Washington DC and St. Paul’s King George, VA.
