By the Rev. Joseph M. Constant

Dick Frazer, a beloved and stalwart director of the Haiti Micah Project, has announced his retirement from the Board of Directors.   During the Project’s first decade, Dick was instrumental in getting our small charity on a sound financial basis.  He was a dedicated fund raiser, and he established our participation in the Combined Federal Campaign.  He could be frequently seen representing us at numerous charity fairs in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.   Dick helped us develop and maintain our website and Facebook page which has been so important in getting out our message.  His positive attitude and friendly demeanor were always hallmarks of our Board meetings.

In his life and his actions, Dick Frazer embodies so many qualities of Christian charity – a gentleness, an empathy for the poor, and a quiet generosity of donating his time and resources.  Dick put into action the words of the Prophet Micah “to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with our God.”

On behalf of our Board of Directors, let me say a heartfelt “Thank you” to Dick Frazer, for your work among us and all that you’ve done for the children of Haiti.    May God bless you and your family in the years to come.
